Charlie Gorham is a percussion performer and educator from Northern Virginia, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Education at George Mason University. In Spring 2025, Charlie earned his M.M. in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he served as a graduate teaching assistant with the UMass Drumline. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music Education from George Mason University in 2019.
Charlie currently serves on the percussion staff at Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps, George Mason University Indoor Drumline, and James Madison High School (Vienna, VA). He has previously worked as a battery instructor with United Percussion and South County High School. As a percussion arranger, he has written for Westfield High School, Hayfield High School, Millbrook High School, and UMass Amherst.
